On Tuesday, March 2, 2010, President Obama signed into law the Temporary Extension Act of 2010. This bill provides a one-month extension of federal funding for unemployment benefits, as well as to the federal COBRA subsidy. The new expiration date for these programs is now March 31, 2010.
